How it Works:
Complete the route anytime from Oct 19-Oct 31, 2024. You may make multiple attempts on the route and resubmit a race file if you beat your previous time. Ride alone, ride with friends, ride it multiple times– you decide!
The whole route has been made into a segment on Strava, so this is what we will use to determine standings. There are also two additional segments you can win on their own, regardless of your time on the overall route. These are elaborated upon in the podiums section.
To enter the race, submit the link to your ride on strava. You must have a strava account (you don’t need the paid version) and make your ride public to participate.
Course Details
- The start/finish will be here.
- The course is now live and you can find the route below along with the segments up for podiums.
- 20-25 miles with ~2,100 ft of climbing.
- Expect a mix of road, gravel, and snowmobile/forest double track.
- We have ridden the route on both gravel and mountain bikes and each has its benefits and drawbacks!
Rules
- You are responsible for you. Take only risks you want to take. We'll never have a prize worth more than your wellbeing.
- Should you decide to go with a group, no drafting allowed.
- You must be self-propelled (unless you enter the e-bike category).
- Obey traffic laws/signals/signage.
- Don't be a jerk. Corollary: Be excellent to each other!
- Helmets required.
- If you're riding at and/or around dawn/dusk/night you should probably have front and rear lights, and have them turned on.
- Have fun and ride bikes!
